On-the-job training and knowledge transfer for Energy Business Advisors (EBAs) and Technical Energy Advisors (TEAs).

On-the-job training activities focus on knowledge transfer and capacity building to develop green energy loans. Working with microfinance networks (instead of microfinance institutions), MicroEnergy International organises “Train the Trainers” workshops, whereby a microfinance network is given the capacity to further train representatives of its local MFI partners in all aspects of green energy loans.

The training is specifically aimed at Energy Business Advisors (EBAs) and Technical Energy Advisors (TEAs). The overall objective is to grant these advisors the knowledge and skills to be able to work together with the Technical Energy Officers (TEOs) of the individual MFIs, so that green energy projects may be implemented on an independent and on-going basis.
