Feasibility of Leasing for Solar Thermal Systems in SME sector
Thanks to its geographic location, Mexico enjoys a great potential for the use of solar energy technology, especially for solar thermal systems (STSs). However, this potential in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) remains unexploited. One of the main barriers for its growth is the financing.
To tackle this problem MicroEnergy International together with its partner, Sparkassenstiftung für international Kooperation Mexico, aim to analyse and propose a financial mechanism under the concept of leasing for the STSs in SMEs.
The study focuses on the global design of the leasing mechanism for SMEs, placing an emphasis on explanation of the legal and financial aspects and procedures. These include: flow of payments/ receipts, purchase of the equipment, installation of the equipment, and quality management (taking into account dimensions of the quality, installation, maintenance, the equipment and its performance).
- Analyse economic, financial and legal reliability of the financial mechanism under the concept of leasing for the STS in SMEs
- Propose a financial mechanism under the concept of leasing for STSs in SMEs in Mexico
- Plan the work for implementation of the proposed mechanism under the leasing concept for STSs in the region of Puebla.
